Elizabeth Fry Society of Saskatchewan
Women’s
Legal Clinic
We provide free, trauma-informed legal help to women and gender-diverse people in Saskatchewan whose legal troubles stem from gender-based violence. Our support is safe, respectful, and trauma-informed.
Expanding Access to Justice
We help women and gender‑diverse individuals whose legal troubles arise from violence, criminalization or colonialism.
Many survivors are not able to obtain legal aid, experience significant wait times or go to court alone. We exist to close that gap through free legal help so you don’t have to face it alone.
We Can Help With
- Family and child protection matters, including parenting, child support, spousal support, and keeping children safe where there is violence or control
- Criminal matters where violence, pressure from a partner, or self-defense played a role
- Immigration issues linked to abuse, including applications to remain in Canada and problems after a sponsorship ends
